High School Student Scholarships
Forest believed that if you can get a student into college they will find a way to stay there until their education is complete but he also knew that sometimes taking that initial step into college could be a financial challenge.
The F.C. and Ruth V. Kelsey Foundation was established in 1999 with the idea of financially helping kids make that first step. A recipient may attend any college, university or vocational school of their choice which will lead to a degree or certification.
The one absolute requirement for a high school senior is they must be graduating from a Grays Harbor high school or have been homeschooled in Grays Harbor. If you are not a resident of Grays Harbor, this scholarship is NOT available to you.
If you fit in this category, applications are available in the counselor’s office at all Grays Harbor high schools, or you can email us at kelseyfoundation@gmail.com to request one be emailed to you.
2024 Application Dates and schedule: High School Students – starting March 1st applications will be available and then Due by 5pm March 31st Applications need to be returned either by email to kelseyfoundation@gmail.com or mailed back to PO Box 404, Montesano, WA 98563. All applications are due back to the Kelsey Foundation and must be in office by 5:00pm March 31st, 2024, no exceptions.
